Do you know about the JOY Ministry? 

The JOY Ministry delivers small gifts and goodie bags to homebound parishioners those in nursing homes, older seniors, and those identified as someone in need of a little extra joy. The JOY Ministry is all about a personal connection between parishioner to parishioner and parishioner to parish. A special gift is prepared for each member of our JOY Ministry six times a year. Every gift is personalized and is hand delivered to their door. No cost and no strings attached!

The ministry includes a Call Team, Delivery Team, and Prep Team. In 2025, we expanded the program to include parishioners from across Mary Queen of Heaven. The JOY Ministry makes deliveries for Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Calls are made on the Wednesday before a scheduled delivery to ensure the parishioner will be home.
