Mary, Queen of Heaven Parish School of Religion (PSR) Preparation classes for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Communion, and Confirmation are now closed. Classes did begin September 8th.
REGISTRATION IS STILL ACTIVE FOR ALL YOUTH WHO WISH TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION IN JANUARY 2026. Registrants must have already enrolled in one of our schools or in the PSR program.
Please plan to send your child to the Summer PSR Program (June 1 - 12, 2026), which will prepare them to join in sacrament prep next fall. Remember to register for fall sacrament prep classes prior to September 1st, 2026. -
The Sacrament of Confirmation, together with Baptism and the Eucharist, is one of the Sacraments of Christian initiation. These three Sacraments form us more fully into the image of Christ making us "fully initiated" member of His Church.
Candidates for Confirmation participate in classroom instruction, evening meetings, service projects and a retreat day. Parents and sponsors are expected to attend specific evening sessions with their candidate. the Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the late winter.
